Northern Credit Union’s Carthage Relationship Center’s Re-Opening Campaign Supports Carthage Area Hospital Foundation - Carthage Area Hospital

Carthage Hospital Foundation Received $2,050.00 to support Carthage Hospital

On Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, a check for $2,050.00 was presented to the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation (CAHF) from Northern Credit Union. The Credit Union’s updated Relationship Center in Carthage conducted a re-opening campaign in which anyone who opened a new checking account or loan would be able to choose from a list of local non-profits to receive $50.00. This marks the second donation received by Northern Credit Union this year.

“The Carthage Area Hospital Foundation is elated to receive the most recent donation from Northern Credit Union. It’s clear just how much they support our local community. On behalf of our staff and Board of Directors, we thank them for their continued generosity. We’re also incredibly grateful to all those who chose the CAHF as their preferred organization of choice for their donation. We rely on the support of our donors and this donation is incredibly appreciated,” said Taylour Scanlin, Foundation & Marketing Executive Director at Carthage Area Hospital.

Donations made to the Carthage Area Hospital Foundation directly support the needs and initiatives of Carthage Area Hospital from new equipment purchases to healthcare scholarships, along with other capital expenses. The CAHF is preparing to launch a new capital campaign to support the hospital’s replacement project.

“This donation is possible because the Carthage, Natural Bridge and surrounding communities chose to put their trust in us,” said Dan St. Hilaire, President and CEO of Northern Credit Union. “As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, the why for our existence is to best support our members, their families, and the community achieve their whys. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the hospital’s foundation as they work to continue providing essential support and services to the community.”
