About Our Emergency Department
Our emergency room is open to patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We have the staffing and equipment required to quickly treat all of our patients. In fact, we see roughly 12,000 patients a year and still manage to boast one of the shortest wait-times among the surrounding area’s hospitals.
Our medical professionals, which includes registered nurses who are ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC providers. When a patient comes into our emergency room, we evaluate their medical condition. We provide emergency and non-emergency treatment. For emergency medical conditions, we will treat and stabilize the patient before we admit them to our hospital, transfer them to another hospital, or discharge them.

- CT scans – Our 128-Slice CT machine allows us to take high-quality cross-sectional images of a patient’s body using a combination of X-rays and computer processing.
- MRI scans – We can identify numerous medical conditions by using our MRI machine to produce detailed images of the patient’s organs and structures.
- X-ray – Our x-ray equipment allows us to diagnose breaks and fractures in a patient’s bones.
- Lab – Our fully-equipped lab can produce quick and accurate results to allow for the proper course of treatment.
- EKG – EKGs allow us to examine patients for potential heart conditions.
- Bone Density – Our GE Prodigy Pro Bone Density machine will help determine bone strength if there is a concern about bone health.
