Emmanuel Nwogu, D.O., FACOOG to provide care at Women’s Way to Wellness Clinic
Carthage Area Hospital is pleased to welcome OB/GYN Provider, Emmanuel Nwogu, D.O., FACOOG to its medical staff. Dr. Nwogu began at Women’s Way to Wellness, 117 N. Mechanic St., Carthage on January 4th, 2021.

He provides a great blend of top-notch clinical education, knowledge and experience and has a strong passion for community-based care. Dr. Nwogu will be an active member in our community and our organization while providing excellent care in a caring, compassionate manner,” said Mark DeCilles, Administrator of Outpatient Clinics & Business Development.
Dr. Nwogu graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, PA in 2008 followed by a residency at St. John Episcopal Hospital, South Shore, Far Rockaway, NY; Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth, NJ; and South Nassau Community Hospital, Oceanside, NY. Prior to his arrival to Carthage, Dr. Nwogu worked as an Obstetrics & Gynecology Attending Physician at Columbia Memorial Health, Hudson, NY. Other previous work experience includes Massena Memorial Hospital, Massena, NY; St. Regis Mohawk Health Center, Hogansburg, NY; and Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, NY. Dr. Nwogu is Board-Certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOOG).
Women’s Way to Wellness offers comprehensive OB & GYN services, as well as Prenatal Care Assistance Program for uninsured pregnant mothers. All Carthage Area Hospital providers focus on giving quality health to our patients and providing access to diagnostic services to determine the appropriate level of care. Hours of operation: Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-4:00pm.
