Carthage Hospital Auxiliary Annual Meeting Set for April 25th
The Carthage Area Hospital Auxiliary will hold its Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 at 7pm at the West Carthage Municipal Building, 61 High St. Carthage. All Auxiliary members and the general public are welcome to attend.
Mrs. Evelyn Peckham will be recognized that evening as “Senior Volunteer,” for her many hours of devoted service to the Carthage Hospital Auxiliary. Peckham has been instrumental in organizing two of the Auxiliary’s fundraising events – the geranium sale in the spring and mum sale in the fall.
Carthage Area Hospital CEO Rich Duvall will present an update on recent hospital initiatives and programs.
Refreshments will be served along with door prizes and raffles. All Auxiliary members are urged to attend. Bring a friend; new members are always welcome.
About the CAH Auxiliary
The Carthage Area Hospital Auxiliary is comprised of men and women who volunteer to support the hospital and believe that it’s an integral part of their communities. Through their efforts, the auxiliary helps to purchase much-needed hospital equipment.
The auxiliary presents opportunities to interact with and meet new people, try out skills and uncover hidden talents to make valuable, personal contributions that help to improve the hospital. How much a member volunteers is up to the individual — a few hours a day, week, or month, or on a special project.
The cost to join is minimal: $5 for regular membership; $4 senior citizen and $50 for life membership. The auxiliary also manages the hospital gift shop, which provides moderately priced merchandise for staff and patients.
